Hello! My name is Kate Roxby, and I am a recent graduate from Iowa State University where I obtained my Master’s in Geophysics and Seismology. During my time at Iowa State University, I worked as a teaching assistant and taught various introductory level geology labs. Additionally, I hold a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. While working to complete my Applied Mathematics degree, I worked as a peer tutor helping students in math classes from Pre-Algebra all the way through Calculus 2. In my free time I enjoy spending time hiking, rock climbing, and knitting. I also enjoy teaching and helping students learn and understand challenging material.
